Abstract

Due to Green Revolution, emphasis has been laid on the use of chemical substances for self-sufficiency in the field of food due to which there has been a detrimental effect on the productivity of agricultural land and soil health etc. Sustainable agriculture is a form of farming which produces food grains sufficient to meet the needs of the present generation without harming the productivity and ecological property of the life system of the future generation. Organic farming is a method of farming in which no chemicals are used for the purpose of obtaining produce. Rather, manure made from organic matter is used, which leads to the development of sustainable agriculture.
